Sponsored Walk 2020

We were amazed by our sponsored walk fundraisers! We raised over £880 as a Centre which is amazing! THANK YOU! One pupil raised a whopping £360 and another raised £150. Some pupils really challenged themselves on the walk …. one pupil walked 4 ¼ miles and one of our younger pupils ran 4 miles!

Sponsored Walk

On Friday both Morning and Afternoon groups at Harlescott completed our Sponsored Walk to raise money for Harlescott Education Centre. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored the children, it really does make such a difference. Some of the children showed great determination and completed 16 laps of the walking track, which is 4 miles! We are working on calculating how far we walked altogether and the grand total of money raised.

Climbing Celebration

As you may know, Key Stage 1 children have been to ‘Climbing the Walls’ this term.  We created a display together to share with you at Open Day.  Unfortunately Open Day is cancelled but we did not want you to miss out!

Using funds from a sports grant we have been able to take KS1 children in the afternoon group to ‘Climbing the Walls’.  The progress in skills and confidence has been a delight to see.

Reading the Game

We had a very special guest at Harlescott today for our Reading the Game sessions. During our literacy session, Lenny the Lion popped into class and wrote on the board!

All of the children have been enjoying developing their literacy and football skills during our Monday sessions.
